2000’s: The beginning of the 2000s started with the catastrophe of 9/11, then we went to war in Iraq, Hurricane Katrina came rushing through taking houses and lives with her. By the end of 2000 the stock market was on the brink of collapse and when it did finally fall our entire economy was up in the air. The 2000’s marked a new era in time. Individuality reigned as the rap and hip hop scene continued to gain global recognition. Fashion now had no boundaries.
